If an insured person faces an illness or accident while traveling, this plan from Future Generali covers the expenses incurred on the medical treatment up to 2,50,000 USD. It includes medical evacuation and repatriation, mental & nervous disorders, maternity benefits and emergency dental treatment.
International Student Travel Insurance Plan will provide reimbursement of used tuition fees up to 25,000 USD if you suffer from either of the following conditions and are unable to continue your studies (for the remaining part of a school semester)
Under this benefit section, you will get coverage in the following situations.
If your sponsor dies or faces a permanent disability due to an accident, the policy will reimburse the tuition fee incurred on the remaining period of your education up to 15,000 USD.
In case of accidental death or permanent total disablement anywhere in the world, the policy covers up to 40,000 USD during your insurance period.
The premium amount under the plan depends on the sum insured, plan type and the period of travel. The minimum amount stands at INR 825 for the sum insured of 50,000 USD for a travel period of 30 days.
If there is no adverse health declaration in your proposal form, you don’t need to undergo pre-acceptance medical tests. In case of a declaration, you will need to undergo medical tests before purchasing the plan. However, 50% of the expenses incurred on the test charges are reimbursed if you have a Future Generali Health Insurance Plan.
Note: Medical test reports remain valid for 30 days after they are conducted.
