Star Health Insurance also offers an application – Star Power (available on android and iPhone) with which you can also make the payment of your renewal premium amount. To make the payment of your health insurance policy, you will need to follow the steps mentioned below.
Star Health Insurance has an extensive network of branches across India where you can go and make the Star Health Insurance Premium Payment through cheque, demand draft (DD) or cash. However, you can make a premium payment of up to INR 50,000 only. In case of cheque payment, write the policy number and mobile number at the back of your cheque.
The Government of India has provided an initiative to provide financial services in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics & IT. You can make the Star Health Insurance Premium Payment at one of the nearest Common Service Centres (CSCs). If you don’t want to pay online, you can choose to pay at the CSC.
Star Health also allows you to send your demand draft (DD) or cheque to the nearest Star Health Branch Office via courier, post, speed post, etc at the following address.

Once Star Health Insurance receives payment, you will get an acknowledgment at your address mentioned in the policy.
Star Health also provides the option to pay your premium in installments from various options – Half-yearly, Quarterly or Monthly. Star Health offers a grace period of 7 days from the premium due date. During this grace period, you will not get any coverage from the due date of installment until the date on which the company receives the premium.
You will not need to bear the interest if you pay the installment premium on the due date. However, if you do not pay the same within the grace period, the policy will get cancelled.
