Step 1: For planned hospitalization, intimate the TPA in advance with the name and addresses of the preferred network hospital. If it’s an emergency hospitalization, intimate your TPA immediately on admission.

Step 2: After your admission, the network hospital will send a pre-authorization cashless request to the Third-party Administrator (TPA). You and hospital authorities will need to sign this form with the details of admission, illness, proposed line of treatment and estimate of the expenses.

Step 3: United India General Insurance will scrutinize these details before approving your claim as per the terms and conditions of your health insurance policy.

Note: You can file a claim for pre and post-hospitalization expenses separately after your treatment. For this, you will need to submit the original documents to the TPA within seven days of discharge.
