Get Cashless Claim at Star Health Network Hospitals in Hyderabad

You can get Star Health cashless claim approval in a few easy steps as shown below –

1. Visit any of the network hospitals in Hyderabad and approach the insurance desk
2. Contact the insurer by calling the toll-free number 1800 425 2255/1800 102 4477 or email at support@starhealth.in
3. Give your Star Health ID card for identification purposes at the hospital reception
4. Submit the pre-admission investigation and the medical practitioner’s consultation papers to the hospital
5. After that, the hospital will verify your identity and submit the duly filled pre-authorization form to Star Health
6. Star Health-empanelled doctors will verify the submitted documents before processing the claim
7. If required, an assigned field doctor may visit you
8. After your discharge, the network hospital will send the required claim documents to Star Health, and the approved claim amount will be paid directly to the hospital

4. Investigation reports like. X-ray, scans, blood report, etc. in original
5. Pharmacy invoices supported along with their respective prescriptions in original
6. Medico-Legal Certificate (MLC) and FIR in case of an accident only
7. Insured’s KYC documents if the claim amount is more than INR 1 Lakh

What if Your Cashless Claim is Not Approved at the Network Hospital?

If your cashless claim is disapproved due to any reason, send an intimation about the medical treatment to the insurer and pay the hospital bills by yourself. You can later claim for reimbursement of the expenses within 15 days from the date of discharge. For reimbursement, you need to submit the following documents –

1. Copy of Health card
2. Duly filled claim form
3. Pre-admission investigations and the medical practitioner’s consultation papers
4. The original discharge summary from the hospital
5. Investigation reports in original, such as X-ray, scans and blood reports, etc.
6. Pharmacy invoices with the doctor’s prescriptions in original
7. Case receipts from the hospital, chemist
8. Medico-Legal Certificate (MLC) and/or FIR in the case of an accident
9. Copy of the KYC documents
10. NEFT details, contact number and e-mail ID
