Claim Settlement Process at SBI General Insurance Network Hospitals in Chennai
In case you face a medical emergency, you only need to get admitted to one of the SBI General Insurance Network Hospitals in Chennai to get cashless treatment and follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: After admission, you will need to get the claim or reference number for which you can choose any of the following methods.
- Contact toll-free number 1800-102-1111
- SMS ‘CLAIM’ to 561612
- Email your details to SBI General Insurance
Step 2: You will need a few documents for the claim processing. SBI Customer Care representatives will provide you details of such documents.
Step 3: Within 24 hours of your claim registration, SBI Claims Manager or Executive will contact you regarding the claim.
Step 4: Submit the required documents to SBI Claims Manager or Executive so that your documents can be verified against the original. It will also help speed up your cashless claim process.
Step 5: Post-verification, SBI General will initiate the claim process and honour all admissible claims (as per the terms and conditions of your SBI Health Insurance Plan) within 30 days of receipt of the final survey report and/or the last necessary document.
