Cashless Claim Process at Reliance General Insurance Network Hospitals in Chennai

If you want a successful and fast claim, you should inform the insurer about the hospitalization as soon as possible by email or calling the toll-free number. When doing it, keep the following information handy.

  1. Policy Number
  2. Contact details of the Insured or Claimant (Phone number, Email ID, Address, Landmark, etc.)
  3. Name of the hospital
  4. Nature of the ailment (For health claims)
  5. Name of Insured or Claimant person (Who is hospitalized)
  6. Relationship of the insured with the hospitalized person
  7. Nature, date & time and location of the accident (for accident cases)
  8. Commencement date of the symptom of an ailment

Step 1: Get admission to one of the nearest Reliance General Network hospitals for the treatment.

Step 2: Post the admission, show your health card to the Third-party Administrator (TPA) or hospital’s help desk. It will help you verify your details smoothly.

Step 3: After the details’ verification, you will need to fill in the cashless request form, which is available at the TPA Desk of all network hospitals.

Step 4: Submit the authorization form and a copy of your health ID card to the network hospital. You will also need to submit one of the following photo IDs for further verification.

  1. Aadhar Card
  2. Driving Licence
  3. PAN Card
  4. Passport

Step 5: Your network hospital will start coordinating with the RCare Health or TPA by sending the pre-authorization form and other necessary medical details via email or fax. Once verified, you will get a confirmation SMS from Reliance General Insurance.

Step 6: Once you get the approval, verify your medical bills by signing on them. At the time of discharge, you can leave the original discharge summary and investigation reports with the hospital and have copies of the same with yourself. Reliance General Insurance will directly settle the bill with the respective network hospital.
