Now that you have the list of Navi General Insurance Network Hospitals in Kolkata, you should also know the cashless claim process at these hospitals. The first step is to present your official health card and one of the following valid photo ID proofs.
- Voter ID Card
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Aadhaar Card
Please check out the steps mentioned below to file a cashless claim.
Step 1: Firstly, inform the network hospital at least 48 hours before a planned hospitalization. If it’s an emergency hospitalization, the network hospital will send the authorization request within 24 hours of admission or before discharge (whichever is earlier).
Step 2: Once a network hospital knows about your hospitalization, it will request an authorization letter for the same via the pre-authorization form.
Step 3: After getting the request, the network hospital will send the pre-authorization form and other necessary details to the 24-hour authorization/cashless department of the Third-party Administrator (TPA).
Step 4: Once Navi General Insurance gets all the necessary details, it will check the eligibility of your cashless claim request.
Step 5: Once the verification process completes, it will issue an authorization letter that remains valid only for 15 days from the date of its issuance.
Step 6: After the hospital gets the final authorization letter, get yourself discharged. Do remember to sign this letter and collect all the photocopies of relevant medical records for future reference.
If something like this happens, you can get hospitalized in a nearby non-network hospital for treatment. Here, pay the expenses upfront and file a reimbursement claim after getting discharged. Download the claim form from the official website of Navi General Insurance, fill in the details and submit it to the TPA. Navi General Insurance will check all the details and approve your claim request accordingly.
