You can get cashless treatment at Navi General Insurance Network Hospitals in Chennai by showing your Navi General Insurance health card. You will also need one of the following photo ID proofs.
You can see the steps mentioned below to file a cashless claim at these network hospitals.
Step 1: Intimate the network hospital at least 48 hours before admission in case of planned hospitalization. The network hospital will send the authorization request within 24 hours of an emergency admission or before discharge (whichever is earlier).
Step 2: Once the hospital knows about the hospitalization, it will issue a request for an authorization letter for the same through the pre-authorization form.
Step 3: Now, the hospital will send the pre-authorization form and all the necessary details to the 24-hour authorization/cashless department of the Third-party Administrator (TPA).
Step 4: Once Navi General Insurance receives the pre-authorization form and other necessary medical information, it will check your cashless claim eligibility.
Step 5: Once the verification process is completed, the insurer will issue an authorization letter to the network hospital. The letter remains valid for 15 days from the date of its issuance.
Step 6: Get yourself discharged as soon as the hospital gets the final authorization letter. Also, sign this letter and remember to collect all the photocopies of relevant medical records for future reference.
You need not worry in such a case as you can get seek admission to a nearby non-network hospital. Here, pay the treatment expenses upfront and file a reimbursement letter after discharge. To do the same, fill in the claim form (download from the official website of Navi General Insurance), and submit it to the TPA. You will get the reimbursement amount to your bank account as per the terms and conditions of your health insurance policy.
