Cashless Treatment Procedure at National Insurance Network Hospitals in Noida

For cashless treatment, contact the Third Party Administrator (TPA), which is an intermediary between the insurance company and the insured. So, notify the TPA about the treatment 72 hours before the planned admission and within 24 hours of emergency admission. Post-intimation, do the following without fail –

  • Provide details like – the name and address of the hospital, the condition you’re suffering from and other details
  • After that, the network hospital will send a duly filled pre-authorization form to the TPA
  • If the insurer approves the claim, you can get treatment at the network hospital

Where to Get Treatment if the Network Hospital isn’t Near?

In such a case, you can get treatment at a non-network hospital. And later on, get reimbursement for the same. Firstly, pay the bills for your treatment upfront and follow the below steps to get all that reimbursed to you –

  • Notify the insurer about the claim via mail or fax within 72 hours of emergency hospitalization and 72 hours before a planned admission.
  • Submit the discharge summary, investigation report and other relevant documents (Claim form – Part A & Part B) to the TPA within 15 days from the date of your discharge
  • The insurance company will reimburse the claim amount to your bank account a few days after approving your application

List of Documents Required for a Reimbursement Claim

The insurance company may require the following documents to process your reimbursement claim –

  • A duly filled claim form (Part A & Part B)
  • Attending medical practitioner’s prescriptions
  • Attending medical practitioner’s certificate regarding diagnosis and bill receipts etc.
  • Original payment receipt, investigation test reports, etc.
  • Surgeon’s original certificate showing the diagnosis and nature of operation performed besides bills/receipts etc.
  • Original cash-memo from the hospital (s)/chemist (s) supported by proper prescription
  • Original bills, payment receipts, medical history of the patient recorded, discharge certificate/ summary from the hospital, etc.

Note –  In case the insurer seeks documents other than the above, submit the same for a smooth credit of the reimbursement amount.
