In case of a medical emergency, you can enjoy a cashless claim at Max Bupa network hospitals in Delhi. But for this, you should understand the cashless claim process. In case of planned hospitalization, you should contact Max Bupa two days before the scheduled admission. In case of an emergency, don’t forget to contact the insurer within 24 hours of hospitalization otherwise it would be difficult to get a cashless claim.
What are the steps to get the cashless claim at Max Bupa Network Hospitals in Delhi? Well, you can check them below.
Step 1: Get admission to the nearest Max Bupa network hospital.
Step 2: After getting admitted to a network hospital, you will need to show your Max Bupa Health Card. If you don’t have the card, you can also use your policy number and a document that authenticates you. Any of the following documents can be asked for the said purpose –
Step 3: The network hospital will assess your identity to validate the cashless claim process. After authentication, the hospital will submit the pre-authorization request form to Max Bupa.
Step 4: Max Bupa will review the pre-authorization request and confirm the same to the respective network hospital via fax or email. The policyholder will also receive the text and email confirming the approval of his/her claim. Max Bupa can give the confirmation within 30 minutes too if everything goes fine.
Step 5: After the completion of the formalities, your claim will be settled as per the policy’s terms and conditions.

In case your cashless claim gets rejected by Max Bupa due to some reasons, you can file a reimbursement claim after getting discharged from the hospital. Remember, reimbursement claims apply to treatment at both network and non-network hospitals. For this, you will need to submit payment receipts related to your medical treatment to Max Bupa. The insurer will review these documents and approve the claim only after successful verification. Post-approval, it will transfer the amount to your bank account within 30 days.
