Cashless Claim Process at Kotak Mahindra General Network Hospitals in Delhi

You should know the process to file a cashless claim at Kotak Mahindra General Network Hospitals in Delhi. So, we are showing the steps below for you to check.

Step 1: As soon as you get hospitalization advice from your treating doctor, choose the network hospital in Delhi to get the treatment.

Step 2: To get a successful claim, you must visit the cashless helpdesk at the hospital 48 hours before a planned admission and within 24 hours of emergency hospitalization.

Step 3: At the hospital helpdesk, fill the pre-authorization form and submit this along with the necessary medical documents and valid photo IDs (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, etc.) to the insurer.

Step 4: The insurer will scrutinize the documents to process your claim. In case everything goes okay, Kotak Mahindra General Insurance will directly settle the bills at the time of discharge.

Note: The insurer will not be responsible for any inadmissible expenses or deductible (if any), and you will need to bear the same.

What if Kotak Mahindra General Insurance Network Hospitals in Delhi are Far Away?

You can get yourself hospitalized in a non-network hospital in such a case. Here, pay the bills upfront and once you get discharged, file a reimbursement claim by following the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Inform the insurer about your hospitalization (via call or email) as soon as possible. After getting discharged, settle all the bills and collect all original documents.

Step 2: Submit the duly filled claim form and the following documents within 30 days of discharge from the hospital.

  • Policy Number
  • Name of the Policyholder
  • Name and address of the Insured Person (In respect of whom the request is being made)
  • Nature of Illness or Injury and the treatment/surgery taken
  • Name and address of the attending Medical Practitioner
  • Hospital where treatment/surgery is taken
  • Date of Admission and date of discharge
  • Any other information that may be relevant to the Illness/ Injury/ Hospitalization

Step 3: The insurer will check all these submitted documents and reimburse the approved claim amount within 15 days of receiving the same.
