Cashless Claim Process at Kotak Mahindra General Insurance Network Hospitals in Bhubaneswar

Step 2: To ensure a hassle-free claim, visit the cashless helpdesk of the hospital 48 hours before a planned hospitalization and within 24 hours of emergency hospitalization.

You can get yourself hospitalized in a non-network hospital in such a case. Here, you will need to pay the expenses upfront. Once you get discharged from the hospital, you can file a reimbursement claim by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: After hospitalization, inform the insurer via email or by calling the toll-free number. Settle all the bills and collect all the original documents once your treatment is over.
Step 2: You will need to submit the duly filled claim form and the following documents within 30 days of discharge from the hospital.
- Policy Number
- Name of the Policyholder
- Name and address of the Insured Person (In respect of whom the request is being made)
- Nature of Illness or Injury and the treatment/surgery taken
- Name and address of the attending Medical Practitioner
- Name of the hospital where the treatment/surgery takes place
- Date of admission & discharge
- Any other information that may be relevant to the Illness/ Injury/ Hospitalization
Step 3: Before processing your reimbursement claim request, the insurer will verify the submitted documents. If everything goes well, you will get the approved claim amount to your bank account within 15 days of receiving the documents.
