Step 1: The first step would be to get yourself hospitalized to one of the nearest or desired HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Pune.

Step 2: After getting admitted to the network hospital, you will need to show your HDFC ERGO Health ID Card for identification purposes. You will also need to submit a valid photo ID from the following documents.

If your cashless claim gets rejected at any of the HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Pune, you can file a reimbursement claim after getting discharged from the hospital. To file the reimbursement claim, you will need to submit the following documents via HDFC ERGO’s online module or send these via email.

1. Duly-filled claim form along with policy number
2. Medical certificate

4. Original Discharge summary or card from the hospital
5. All bills and receipts incurred towards the treatment
6. Investigation reports such as X-ray, Blood reports, etc.
7. FIR or Medico-Legal Certificate (In case of an accidental injury)
8. NEFT details for payments

Now, after receiving these documents, HDFC ERGO will review them and approve your claim accordingly. In case some additional documents are required, HDFC ERGO will call for the same. After the successful approval, you will receive the reimbursement amount into your bank account via NEFT within 7 days from the last required document received. In the case of internal verification, the process can take up to 30 days.
