Cashless Claim Process at HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Gurugram
To get a claim successfully, you should intimate HDFC ERGO at least 2 to 4 days before a planned hospitalization, while within 24 hours of admission in case of emergency hospitalization. You can see all the steps to file a cashless claim at these network hospitals in Gurugram below. Please check!
Step 1: Get admission to the nearest or convenient HDFC ERGO network hospital in Gurugram.
Step 2: After hospitalization, show your health ID Card along with one of the following photo IDs.
- Voter ID Card
- PAN Card
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- Aadhar Card
Step 3: As soon as the identification process completes, the network hospital will send the pre-authorization form to HDFC ERGO.
Step 4: After receiving the pre-authorization request, HDFC ERGO or Third-party administrator (TPA) will assess these details. Policyholders will also get regular updates regarding the claim.
Step 5: HDFC ERGO will pay the claim amount and settle the bill with the network hospital after successful approval.
What to Do if Your Cashless Claim Gets Rejected at HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Gurugram?
In case your cashless claim gets rejected at HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Gurugram, you don’t need to worry. The reason being you can file a reimbursement claim once you are discharged from the hospital. To do the same, submit the following documents along with the duly filled claim form and your policy number.
- Medical certificate
- Past treatment documents (if any)
- Original Discharge summary or card from the hospital
- All bills and receipts incurred towards the treatment
- Investigation reports such as X-ray, Blood reports, etc.
- FIR or Medico-Legal Certificate (In case of an accidental injury)
- NEFT details for payments
HDFC ERGO will review these documents and you will get the reimbursement amount to your bank account within 7 days of the last required document received after successful approval.
