Cashless Claim Process at HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Bangalore

Step 1: Get yourself hospitalized at the nearest or convenient HDFC ERGO Network Hospital in Bangalore.

Step 2: At the network hospital, you will need to show your health card for identification purposes and submit a valid photo ID from the following documents-

1. Passport
2. Voter ID Card
3. PAN Card
4. Aadhar Card
5. Driving Licence

Step 3: The network hospital will send the pre-authorization request to HDFC Ergo to validate your cashless claim process.

Step 4: HDFC ERGO or Third Party Administrator (TPA) will review the details and decide accordingly. Regarding the updates during every stage of your claim process, HDFC ERGO will send the same to the policyholder on their registered number or email ID.

Step 5: HDFC ERGO will directly settle the claim as per the terms and conditions of your health insurance plan.

What to Do if Your Cashless Claim Gets Rejected at HDFC ERGO Network Hospitals in Bangalore?

In case your cashless claim gets rejected, you don’t need to worry as you can file a reimbursement claim after getting discharged from the hospital. To get the same, you will need to submit the following documents to HDFC ERGO using an online module or email.

1. Duly-filled claim form along with policy number
2. Medical certificate
3. Past treatment documents (if any)
4. Original Discharge summary or card from the hospital
5. All bills and receipts incurred towards the treatment
6. Investigation reports such as X-ray, Blood reports, etc.
7. FIR or Medico-Legal Certificate (In case of an accidental injury)
8. NEFT details for payments

These documents will be reviewed by HDFC ERGO before it approves your claim. After the successful approval, the reimbursement amount will be transferred to your account within 7 days from the last document received (up to 30 days in case further verification is needed).
