Cashless Treatment Procedure at Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Noida
You can receive the cashless facility at any of the above-mentioned Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Noida by following the steps shown below:
- Show your health ID card at the hospital reception
- Submit the duly filled and signed pre-authorization form to the network hospital
After that, the hospital will send your pre-authorization form to the insurance company for approval. Once the pre-authorization is approved, you can receive treatment for your illness or injury at the network hospital within 10 days of the approval.
What if the Cashless Claim Request is Rejected?
In case your cashless request is rejected, file a reimbursement claim by submitting the following documents to the insurer –
- Duly filled and signed claim form
- Copy of your health ID card or policy document
- First consultation letter and subsequent prescriptions related to the illness/injury for which you have been admitted to the hospital
- Surgeon certificate stating the nature of operation performed, along with surgeon’s bills and receipts, if applicable
- Attending doctors, consultants, specialist’s, anesthetist bills and receipts, and certificates regarding the treatment
- Original discharge summary from the hospital
- Original consolidated hospital bill with a break-up of each item
- Original payment receipts of the hospital bill with the receipt number
- Original bills, payment receipts and investigation reports
- Original medicine bills and receipts with prescriptions
- Original invoice/bills for implants with original payment receipts
- Copy of the First Information Report (FIR) or Medico-Legal Certificate (MLC), if applicable
How to Notify Edelweiss About the Hospitalization?
To intimate Edelweiss about the hospitalization, do the following:

- Write an email to support@edelweissinsurance.com
In case of planned hospitalization, notify the insurer at least 72 hours before the scheduled admission. Whereas, in case of emergency, notify within 48 hours of admission/discharge.
