How to Get Cashless Treatment at Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Coimbatore?

To receive cashless medical treatment at any of the above-mentioned Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Coimbatore, follow the steps shown below:

1. Show your health ID card at the reception
2. Submit a duly filled pre-authorization form to the network hospital

After that, the network hospital will send your pre-authorization form to the insurance company for approval. Once the pre-authorization is approved, you can receive cashless medical treatment at the network hospital.

Note: You can avail of the cashless facility within 10 days of the pre-authorization.

What if You Don’t Find Edelweiss Network Hospitals Convenient to You?

In that case, you can choose a non-network hospital for treatment and pay the expenses involved in the same. After getting discharged from the hospital, file a reimbursement claim. To do so, submit the following documents to the insurer –

1. Duly filled and signed claim form
2. Copy of health ID card or policy document
3. Original bills, payment receipts and reports for investigation
4. Original discharge summary from the hospital
5. Original consolidated hospital bill with the break-up of each item
6. Original payment receipt of the hospital bill with the receipt number
7. Original medicine bills and receipts with prescriptions from the attending doctor
8. Original invoice/bills for implants with original payment receipts, if applicable
9. Copy of the First Information Report (FIR) or Medico-Legal Certificate (MLC), if applicable
10. First consultation letter and subsequent prescriptions
11. Attending doctors, consultants, specialist’s, anesthetist bills and receipts and certificates regarding the treatment of the illness/injury
12. Surgeon certificate stating the nature of operation performed, surgeon’s bills and receipts, if applicable
