How to Get Cashless Treatment at Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Ahmedabad?

You need to follow the steps shown below to receive cashless medical treatment at Edelweiss Network Hospitals in Ahmedabad:

2. Show your health ID card at the reception
3. Submit a duly filled pre-authorization form to the network hospital

After that, the network provider will send the pre-authorization form to the insurance company for approval. And once the pre-authorization is approved, you can receive cashless medical treatment at the network hospital within 10 days of the same.

What if Pre-authorization is Disapproved by Edelweiss?

If the pre-authorization for a cashless claim is rejected, you can cover your medical expenses by filing a reimbursement. To do so, submit the following documents to the insurer –

6. Original bills, payment receipts and reports for investigation
7. Original discharge summary from the hospital
8. Original consolidated hospital bill with the break-up of each item
9. Original payment receipt of the hospital bill with the receipt number
10. Original medicine bills and receipts with prescriptions from the attending doctor
11. Original invoice/bills for implants with original payment receipts, if applicable
12. Copy of the First Information Report (FIR) or Medico-Legal Certificate (MLC), if applicable
