To make the premium payment with the LIC e-Services facility, you will need to follow the steps mentioned below.
You can check the policy schedule which will be displayed on the first page of your policy bond. Other than this, you can also know about the policy status having information like your plan term, date of commencement, sum assured, first unpaid premium, due premium date, etc.
If you want to get information about the overall bonus accumulated under the policy, you can use the LIC e-Services. You will get this bonus at the time of final payment under the policy.
If you have taken a loan against your policy, you can check its status via LIC e-Services. With this facility, you can know the current position of your loan such as the extent of the due amount up to which the loan interest is paid, outstanding loan amount, etc.
On this portal, you can also check your claim status such as the date of maturity benefit or survival benefit offered by the LIC policy during the policy term.
It is necessary to pay your premium on time. To ensure this, you can log in to your account and check the information regarding your due premium over the policy year in a monthly format.
If you don’t pay your premium within a grace period, your policy gets lapsed. However, you can revive the same within 5 years from the date of the first unpaid premium along with the penalty. With the help of LIC e-Services, you can get a revival quotation for your lapsed policy.
You can download the premium paid certificate for both individual and consolidated policy. The individual policy provides a history of premiums paid under a single life policy during the policy year and is available for 3 financial years including the current one.
On choosing the consolidated option, you can get the history of premiums paid under all the registered own life policies of the user (excluding spouse and children policies) during the financial year.
You can also check details of any claim paid under the policy – NEFT or Cheque details, date of payment and payment amount.
You can also see a scanned image of your policy bond as well as the proposal form for all the enrolled life insurance policies.
You can register a complaint or grievance with the LIC using the e-Services facility if you face any problem regarding your policy.
