  1. The best thing about this Super Top-up Plan is that it is available on both Individual and Floater basis. You might wonder, what is this ‘Floater’ all about? Well, when you choose the Floater option on this insurance plan, it will cover the entire family on paying a single premium in a financial year.
  2. With the Super Top-up Insurance Plan, all family members including parents will get coverage under the single policy with different sum insured amounts and also different threshold levels.
  3. On taking the group basis, all family members will get a Single Sum Insured Amount and Threshold Level under the Policy. However, if parents want to opt for a separate policy, they can do the same.
  4. United India Super Top-up Insurance Plan offers different options with a different sum insured and threshold levels. So, you can choose according to your needs and convenience.
  5. The age of the Proposer (the individual proposing the Super Top-up Plan) should be between 18 and 80 years.

United India Super Top-up Insurance Plan Exclusion Details

Even though the Super Top-up Plan has extensive coverages, it comes with some exceptions too. We are showing below the expenses for which you won’t get any cover. Have a look!

  1. All pre-existing diseases up to 48 months of continuous coverage from the Health Insurance Plan
  2. Vaccination and Inoculation of any kind, unless it is after the bite of an animal, will not get covered
  3. General Debility (weakness) and Run Down Conditions (poor health)
  4. Circumcision, Cosmetic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
  5. HIV or AIDS
  6. Naturopathy
  7. War, Act of foreign enemy, Ionizing Radiation and Nuclear Weapon
  8. All External types of equipment
  9. Ailments or Diseases related to ChildBirth and Pregnancy
  10. Experimental or Unproven Treatments as mentioned in the policy
  11. Intentional Self-inflicted Injury
  12. Treatments other than Allopathic and Ayurvedic Branches of Medicine

How to Get a Claim for the United India Super Top-up Insurance Plan?

Now, it’s time to discuss the most important aspect of any Insurance Policy – the Claim Procedure. The most important thing about the Super Top-up Plan is that you will receive all the claims in Indian Rupees Only. In case any unfortunate event happens, you will need to inform the Hospitalization or Claim by intimating the same to the address of the Insurer or Third-party Administrator (TPA).

If you are admitted to a hospital because of some emergency, you should send the intimation notice within 24 hours from the time of hospitalization. After sending an intimation of the Claim, you will need to collect a Claim Form. To raise a claim for your United India Super Top-up Insurance Plan, you will need to submit this form along with the required documents to the TPA within 15 days from the date of discharge from the hospital. Cashless Claims

To get the Cashless Claim, the insured person or his/her representative will need to submit the pre-authorization Cashless form to the TPA through the hospital where the person is taking the treatment. There is no need for Separate Intimation if you submit the pre-authorization form immediately on admission into the hospital. A cashless facility is provided in all the PPN Network Hospitals fixed by United India.

Reimbursement Claims

If you are not choosing the cashless method to raise claims, you can always use the Reimbursement method for the United India Super Top-up plan. For this, the insured person should submit all the required documents related to Hospitalization expenses within 15 days from the date of discharge from the hospital. So what are these documents?   2. Certificate of all the medical operations along with the Date of Diagnosis
  3. Discharge Certificate from the Hospital
  4. Medical History of Patients, Hospital Bills, and Payment Receipts from treating doctors, surgeons, etc.
  5. Additional required documents by the TPA or Insurance Company

How to Renew your United India Super Top-up Insurance Plan?

If you want to renew your Super top-up insurance plan, you only need to visit the official website of United India. There, you will see the ‘Products’ section. In this section, you will only need to go to the ‘Renew’ option. On reaching there, enter your 20-digit Policy Number without any slash (\) and proceed to the payment option. After making the successful payment, your policy will be renewed. United India will also send you a soft copy to your registered email id.
