Room’s Rent Coverage

Following expenses will be covered if in case you are hospitalized due to cancer:-

  2. Expenses for the Deluxe Room if the amount of the Sum Assured is Rs.25 Lacs and Rs.50 Lacs.

Cancer Care Benefit

The company will pay 50% of the Sum Assured as the critical care benefit as an addition if you are diagnosed with cancer for the first time and it is the Advanced Metastatic Cancer Stage 4.

Second Opinion Benefit

The company will pay you up to Rs.5000 in the New India Cancer Guard Policy if you consult another medical practitioner to seek advice. People usually prefer a second opinion if they are slightly unsatisfied with their current doctor. The second opinion benefit will be up to Rs.10000 if your Sum Assured is Rs.25 Lacs and Rs.50 Lacs.

Cumulative Bonus

You will get a cumulative bonus of 10% after every claim-free year and it will be added to the amount of the Sum Assured. The company will keep on adding the cumulative bonus to the Sum Assured after every claim-free year until it reaches 50% of the Sum Assured.

Ambulance Charges Cover

You will also get the reimbursement for the Ambulance Charges. The ambulance charges are covered up to Rs.3000 per hospitalization.

Organ Transplant Cover

If by any chance you have to go through an organ transplant surgery then it is also covered in this plan. The company will reimburse the expense incurred for an organ transplant.

No Medical Check-up

Eligibility Criteria for the Sum Assured

  1. If your age is 50 years and below then you are allowed to choose the sum assured of Rs.5 lacs, Rs.10 Lacs, Rs.15 lacs, Rs.25 Lacs, and Rs.50 Lacs.
  2. If your age is between 51 years and 55 years below then you are allowed to choose the sum assured of Rs.5 lacs, Rs.10 Lacs, Rs.15 lacs.
  3. You can choose a Sum Assured of Rs.5 Lacs, and Rs.10 Lacs if your age is between 56 years and 60 years.
  4. A Sum Assured of only Rs.5 Lacs is allowed to the individuals having the age between 61 years and 65 years.

Exclusions of this Health Plan

  1. Any Treatment other than for Cancer.
  2. Pre-Existing Condition for Cancer.
  3. Cancer diagnosed/contracted by the Insured person during the first ninety days.
  4. Plastic Surgery, cosmetic, aesthetic treatment.
  5. Non Allopathic treatment
  6. Rest Cure, Rehabilitation and Respite care
  7. Palliative Care
  8. Unproven/Experimental Treatment and pharmacological regimens
