Hospitalization Cover
The insured will get a cashless facility at the Max Bupa Network Hospital if he is hospitalized in those hospitals. All the payment made will be cashless and it will be from the company directly to the hospital so that you can stay with the patient and take good care of him.
Home Treatment Cover
Sometimes the doctors advise their patients to continue the treatment of the health disease at home. So in such a situation the expenses done for the treatment will be reimbursed to the insured in this insurance plan. It also happens due to the unavailability of beds in the hospitals and the patient is advised to stay at home and continue the treatment.
Pre and Post Hospitalization Cover
The company will cover all the expenses done in 60 days of pre-hospitalization. All the expenses done after 90 days from the date of discharge will also be covered in the Max Bupa Health Insurance Premia Plan. So, your pre-hospitalization and post-hospitalization expenses are covered in this health insurance policy.
AYUSH Cover
AYUSH stands for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddhi, and Homeopathy treatments and if in case you are opting for any such treatment then the expenses related to it are covered in this policy. In-patient expenses or any other expenses are also covered if you are going through the AYUSH treatment.
Organ Transplant Cover
In the case of an organ transplant surgery, the expenses of the surgery and the donor’s expenses are also covered in this health insurance plan. The maximum amount of cover will be up to the amount of the sum assured.
Ambulance Cover
You can take the reimbursement of the ambulance expenses as well once the company accepted the in-patient claim. In other words, the ambulance expenses are also covered by the company usually incurred during hospitalization.
Maternity and New Born Benefits
The maternity expenses and newborn expenses are also covered in this insurance plan. You can cover your newborn baby from day 1 until the policy term without paying an additional premium. The maternity benefit is capped up to a maximum of Rs.2 Lacs if you have taken Platinum Insurance Plan.
Free Health Check-up
After the expiry of one policy year, you can go through a free health check-up of up to Rs.10000 per person. If you have covered your children or spouse in the plan and they will get a free health check-up separately.
OPD Treatments and Diagnostic Tests
In this health insurance plan, the expenses have done for the OPD Treatments and Diagnostic Tests are also covered. In other words, all the expenses done for outpatient care are covered under this insurance plan.
Loyalty Additions
The company will give you a loyalty addition of 10% of the Sum Assured every year. The value of the sum assured will increase by 10% every year until it reaches 100% of the Sum Assured.
Premium Waiver
You are allowed to enjoy the waiver of premium for one year if the policyholder passes away or diagnosed with a critical or specified illness.
