Hospitalization Expenses

In this benefit, the company will reimburse the bed-charges, nursing charges, blood tests, ICU Charges, and other consultation fees. You can see the coverage below:-

  1. Room’s Rent cover is 2% of the Sum Assured of up to Rs.5000.
  2. ICU’s Rent cover is 5% of the Sum Assured of up to Rs.10000.

Pre and Post-Hospitalization Expenses

All the expenses prior to 30 days to hospitalization are covered in this health insurance plan and they are known as pre-hospitalization expenses. On the other hand, the expenses paid after discharge until 60 days are covered in this insurance plan and they are known as post-hospitalization expenses.

  1. You will get 50% of the Sum Assured if you are going for the treatment of any disease mentioned below:-Uterine Artery Embolization and HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

  5. Immunotherapy – Monoclonal antibody to be given as an injection

  10. Vaporisation of Prostrate (Green Laser treatment of Holmium laser treatment)

AYUSH Treatment Expenses

Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy treatment expenses will be indemnified by the company. AYUSH treatment is also known as Ayurvedic Treatment and if you are going through these treatments then the expenses will be reimbursed to you.

Cataract Expenses Reimbursement

The treatment of Cataract Illness is covered in this plan and the company will indemnify for the expenses. The reimbursement you will get for the cataract treatment will be the lowest of the following:-

  1. 25% of the Sum Assured
  2. Rs.40000

Day Care Treatment Expenses

The Day Care Treatment expenses are covered in the Bharti Axa Arogya Sanjeevani Policy. It means that if in case you aren’t hospitalized and your treatment has been done within 24 hours then the expenses for that treatment will be covered in this in Policy.

Dental Treatment and Plastic Surgery

The Dental Treatment and Plastic Surgery expenses will be reimbursed by the company if in case it is needed due to any other disease. The company will indemnify all the losses for Dental Treatment and Plastic Surgery.

Ambulance Expenses

The ambulance expenses will also be reimbursed in this health insurance plan. Rs.2000 is the maximum amount that is capped for the Ambulance Expenses in this insurance plan.

Cover your Family

You are allowed to cover your family members under the same health insurance plan. Members that can be added to this policy are:-

  1. Spouse
  2. Children
  3. Parents
  4. In-laws

No Claim Bonus

You will get a cumulative bonus of 5% every year if you don’t make any claim. I other words, if you pass a year without making any claim then the company will increase the amount of the Sum Assured by 5%. The company will add the no-claim bonus of 5% of the Sum Assured to the remaining Sum Assured every year until it reaches 50% of the Sum Assured. The premium of the policy will remain the same and the value of the Sum Assured will keep on increasing.

  3. Adenoidectomy
  4. Mastoidectomy
  5. Tympanoplasty
  6. Hysterectomy
  7. All internal and external benign tumors, cysts, polyps of any kind including benign breast lumps
  8. Benign prostate hypertrophy
  9. Cataract and are related eye ailments
  10. Gastric/ Duodenal Ulcer
  11. Gout and Rheumatism
  12. Hernia of all types
  13. Hydrocele
  14. Non-Infective Arthritis
  15. Piles, Fissures and Fistula in anus
  16. Pilonidal sinus, Sinusitis, and related disorders
  17. Prolapse inter Vertebral Disc and Spinal Diseases unless arising from an accident
  18. Calculi in the urinary system, Gall Bladder, and Bile Duct, excluding malignancy
