Corona Kavach Policy

Buy this Corona Kavach Policy if you are between 18-65 years. You can buy this either on an Individual and family floater basis. In the policy, family means self, legally wedded spouse, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law. The minimum and maximum entry age are 18 and 65 years, respectively, for an adult, whereas it is 1 day to 25 years for the dependent children. SBI Corona Kavach policy sum insured ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 5 lakh.

Hospitalization Coverage for Room rent, boarding and nursing expenses, ICU/ICCU charge, surgeon, anesthetist, medical practitioner, consultants and specialist fees, anesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre charges, surgical appliances, ventilator charges, medicines and drugs, diagnostics expenses/imaging modalities, PPE Kit, gloves, mask, road ambulance will be covered.

Home Care Coverage for Daily monitoring chart administered, duly signed by the treating doctor, cashless or reimbursement facility, diagnostic tests for COVID-19 at home or diagnostics center, medicines prescribed by the doctor in writing, consultation fee, nursing fee, performed medical procedures, and expenses of Pulse Oximeter, Oxygen cylinder and Nebulizer.

AYUSH Treatments: Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy systems of medicines (in any AYUSH Hospital).

Pre- and Post-Hospitalization: Your pre-hospitalization treatment expenses are valid for a fixed period of 15 days before the date of hospitalization or doctor-prescribed home care treatment of COVID-19. Also, a cover for post-discharge expenses is provided for 30 days.

Exclusions:-  Investigation, Evaluation, Rest Cure, Rehabilitation, Respite Care, Non-prescribed Dietary supplements, unproven treatments, Daycare, OPD, Covid expenses (if it is diagnosed before the policy purchase), treatments and tests outside India won’t get covered.

Corona Rakshak Policy

The policy is for an individual between the age of 18-65 years. SBI General’s Corona Rakshak Insurance provides coverage of INR 50,000 to INR 2.5 lakh. It will cover COVID-19 expenses by providing you a lump sum benefit equal to the Sum Insured. The benefit is payable if you are tested positive for a minimum continuous period of 72 hours. Your diagnosis of COVID-19 shall be from a government authorized Diagnostic Centre only. And the policy payment is made only on hospitalization (if it is for a minimum of 72 hours).

SBI Corona Rakshak Policy has a waiting period of 15 days starting from the date of commencement. So if you are tested positive during the waiting period, the same will not be claimable.

Exclusion:- Investigation, Evaluation, Diagnosis not related to COVID-19, COVID Testing that is not authorized by the government of India, COVID positive before the policy purchase, and if you travel anywhere that comes under a COVID-19 restricted area, you won’t get the cover.

Arogya Sanjeevani

You can buy this SBI Health Insurance policy if your age is between 18-65 years. Your family can also be included under the Arogya Sanjeevani policy, but the dependent children’s age must be from 3 months to 25 years. The minimum sum insured of the policy is INR 1 lakh and the maximum amount of sum insured is INR 5 lakh. And the policyholder can pay the premium Annually, Half Yearly, Quarterly or Monthly. The company doesn’t require a pre-acceptance medical check-up up to the age of 45 years if you don’t have any pre-existing disease.

Hospitalization Cover:- Room Rent, Boarding & Nursing Expenses, ICU and ICCU Expenses, Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Blood, Medical Practitioner, Consultants, Specialist Fees, anesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre charges, surgical appliances, medicines and drugs, costs towards diagnostics, diagnostic imaging modalities and similar type of expenses, Cataract, Dental treatment (for disease or injury treatment), Plastic surgery (for disease or injury treatment), all daycare treatments and road ambulance.

An individual can purchase the SBI Arogya Plus policy for himself and his family. The floater option of this SBI Health Insurance plan will cover you, your spouse and your maximum of two children. You will also get a sum insured option in this policy such as INR 1 Lakh, INR 2 Lakh and INR 3 Lakh.

Hospitalization Cover:– Room rent, boarding expenses, medical practitioners’ fees, ICU fee, nursing expenses, expenses for anesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre, surgical appliances, diagnostic expenses & x-ray, dialysis, chemotherapy, medicines and the consumables, radiotherapy, cost of the pacemaker, prosthesis/internal implants, any medical expenses incurred at operation and physiotherapy.

Pre- and Post-Hospitalization:– The pre-and post-hospitalization treatment expenses are covered for a fixed period of 60/90 days.

OPD Treatment:- OPD consultation & treatment up to the specified limit and maternity cover up to the OPD limit.

Alternative Treatment:– 142 daycare expenses, ambulance fee, AYUSH treatment in a government hospital or an institute recognized by the government and domiciliary hospitalization expenses.

Arogya Top Up

With the SBI General’s Arogya Top-Up Policy, you can provide coverage to your family and yourself with a sum insured of up to INR 1-50 lakh. There is no medical check-up up to the age of 55 years.

Hospitalisation Expenses:- Room rent, boarding expenses, medical practitioner’s fees, teleconsultation, ICU and nursing expenses. Cost of anesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre, surgical appliances, medicines, diagnostic expenses, x-ray, dialysis, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pacemaker, prosthesis/internal implants and any medical expense that is an integral part of the operation. Physiotherapy, drugs, medicines and consumables expenses that are used during the hospitalization. It also covers diagnostic procedures, dressing, ordinary splints and plaster casts.

Pre- and Post-Hospitalization:- The pre-and post-hospitalization treatment expenses are covered for a fixed period of 60/90 days.

Alternative Treatment:– 141 daycare expenses, ambulance fee, AYUSH treatment in a government hospital or an institute recognized by the government and domiciliary hospitalization expenses. Organ donor expenses, maternity expenses, HIV/AIDS, genetic disorder, internal congenital disease and 12 advanced treatments.

Retail Health Insurance

If you are 18, you can buy this SBI General’s Retail Health Insurance Policy for yourself or your family. Here in this policy, the family consists of self, spouse, legal dependent children and parents. Under this policy, you can have a sum insured of INR 50,000 to 5 lakh.

Hospitalization Cover:- Room Rent, Boarding & Nursing Expenses, ICU and ICCU Expenses are covered up to 25% of the sum insured. Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Blood, Medical Practitioner, Consultants, Specialist Fees, anesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre charges, surgical appliances up to 40% of the sum insured. Ambulance charge and free medical check-up expenses for every four claim-free years up to 1% of the sum insured. The maximum limit is INR 2,500.

Pre- and Post-Hospitalization:– A maximum of 10% of the sum insured is consumed for pre-and post-hospitalization expenses (30/60 days).

Parental & Child Care Expenses:– This is available for a child below 10 years and parent above 60 years of age. The company will pay the Attendant escort/nursing charges of INR 500 for each completed day of hospitalization, subject to a maximum of 30 days for children and 10 days for parents.

Buy this SBI Health Insurance Aarogya Premier policy directly from the office of SBI General through intermediaries or from the bank counter through master policy in the bancassurance model. The policy protects you and your family against uncertain health risks with a sum insured of up to INR 10-30 lakh. The sum insured will get reinstated to 100% if it is reduced due to claim and for this, the company will not charge any extra cost. And for each claim-free year, a 10% cumulative bonus will be added to your sum insured.

Hospitalization Expenses:- Room rent, boarding expenses, medical practitioner’s fees, teleconsultation, ICU and nursing expenses. Group Health Insurance Policy (for Individuals & Family)

The SBI General’s Group Health Insurance Policy is available for you if you are a permanent Indian resident aged between 18 to 65 years and have an account with SBI or its associate banks. Under this policy, you and your family can get a wide cover of INR 1-5 lakh. No pre-policy medical test is required up to the age of 65 years. You can seek cashless treatment at 3,000+ network hospitals of SBI General Insurance.

A co-payment of 10% will apply if you get admitted to a non-network hospital.

An SBI General’s Critical Illness insurance provides you financial help if you are diagnosed with the following 13 critical illnesses such as – cancer of specified severity, open chest CABG, Aorta Graft surgery, open Heart Replacement/Repair of Heart Valves, stroke resulting in permanent symptoms, first Heart Attack of specified severity, kidney failure, primary pulmonary arterial Hypertension, Major Organ/Bone Marrow Transplant, Multiple Sclerosis with Persisting Symptoms, coma of specified severity, total blindness and permanent paralysis of limbs.

Exclusions:– Pre-existing conditions/complications, any diseases causing the death of the insured within the survival period, any congenital illness/conditions, attempted suicide/intentionally self-inflicted Injury/Illness, sexually transmitted conditions, mental or nervous disorder, AIDS and its related complications. Use or abuse of intoxicating drugs or alcohol.

Hospital Daily Cash

If you buy SBI General’s Hospital Daily Cash Insurance Policy, you can get four daily benefit amount options like INR 500, 1,000, 1500 & 2,000. The coverage of this plan is for a maximum of 30-60 days.

Coverage:- A Hospital Daily Cash for each continuous and completed 24 hours of hospitalization, 2X Hospital Daily Cash for each continuous and completed 24 hours of Hospitalisation due to accident or bodily injury, 2X Hospital Daily Cash for each continuous and completed 24 hours of Hospitalisation in ICU, 3X Hospital Daily Cash is payable upon completion of 10 consecutive days of hospitalization in a single admission.

Exclusions:- Any complications/ treatments of pre-existing conditions, if disease contracted during the first 30 days of the policy, treatments traceable to pregnancy and childbirth, any mental disease/illness treatment, psychiatric or psychological disorders treatment, all expenses related to AIDS and its consequences, use or abuse of any substance, drug or alcohol, and Daycare treatments.

Loan Insurance Policy

Anyone who is aged between 18 – 65 years availing of a loan from a financial institution recognized by RBI can buy this SBI General’s Loan Insurance policy. Under this, no medical check-up is required up to the age of 45 years and the insured will get a sum insured of up to INR 1 Crore.

Coverage:– Accidental death, permanent total disablement, loss of sight of both eyes, loss of limbs, loss of job (if a maximum of 3 EMIs is paid), cancer of specified severity, open chest CABG, Aorta Graft surgery, open Heart Replacement/Repair of Heart Valves, stroke resulting in permanent symptoms, first Heart Attack of specified severity, kidney failure, primary pulmonary arterial Hypertension, Major Organ/Bone Marrow Transplant, Multiple Sclerosis with Persisting Symptoms, coma of specified severity, total blindness and permanent paralysis of limbs.
