When it comes to choosing the plan option, both Star Health Medi Classic and Care Freedom Plan provide flexibility with multiple sum assured options. If we talk about Star Health Medi Classic, individuals can choose from two options – Basic plan and Gold plan. With a basic plan, the sum insured amount can go up to INR 15 lakh, while this amount can go up to INR 25 lakh with a gold plan.
On the other hand, the Care Freedom Plan also provides two options of Plan 1 and Plan 2 that individuals can choose according to their needs. With Plan 1, the sum insured can be INR 3 lakh and INR 5 lakh, and if you are choosing plan 2, the sum insured options can be INR 7 lakh and INR 10 lakh.

For the Care Freedom plan, the minimum entry age can be 18 years for adults and 90 days for children, while the maximum entry age can be lifelong and 24 years for adults and children respectively.
