You’ll get the following benefits if you purchase this policy from Navi General Insurance.

Critical Illness Cover: The insurer will pay the sum insured as specified in the policy schedule if you are diagnosed with any of the following critical illnesses during the policy period –

  2. Myocardial Infarction (First Heart Attack of Specific Severity)
  3. Open Chest CABG
  4. Pulmonary Artery Graft Surgery
  5. Open Heart Replacement or Repair of Heart Valves

  8. Primary (Idiopathic) Pulmonary Hypertension
  9. Coronary Artery Disease
  10. Stroke Resulting in Permanent Symptoms

SheSmart Cover: Here, the insurer will pay the sum insured as specified in the policy schedule if the insured is diagnosed with any of the following critical illnesses during the policy period –

  1. Severe Osteoporosis
  2. Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation
  3. Eclampsia of Pregnancy
  4. Malignant Hydatidiform Mole
  5. Down Syndrome
  6. Tetralogy of Fallot
  7. Gestational Choriocarcinoma
  8. Transposition of Great Arteries
  9. Ebstein Anomaly
  10. Spina Bifida

Note: This coverage benefit is applicable for female insured persons aged between 18 and 55 years.

Additional Critical Illness Cover: The insurer will pay the sum insured as specified in the policy schedule if you are diagnosed with any of the following during the policy period –

  1. Early Stage Cancer
  2. Intermediary Stage Cancer

Note: Nothing shall be payable under this benefit if you have already made a claim under critical illness cover for the same body organ or the malignant cells.

Second Critical Illness Cover: You’ll get coverage for a Second Critical Illness under this policy only once during the lifetime of the policy, provided it is renewed continuously without any break. The second critical illness is admissible for the claim if it is diagnosed one year after the diagnosis of the first critical illness.

Personal Accident Cover: The insurer will pay the sum insured as specified in the policy schedule if you suffer an injury due to an accident and die within twelve months from the date of such an incident.

Note: This benefit is payable in case of disappearance if the insured’s body has not been found within twelve months after the forced landing, stranding, sinking or wrecking of a conveyance.

Medical Inflation Bonus: Your policy sum insured will be enhanced by 10% on renewal. This benefit is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Accumulated Medical Inflation shall not exceed 50% of the sum insured or INR 7.5 Lakh, whichever is lower, in any policy year
  2. Medical Inflation Bonus will be lost if the policy is not renewed on or before the end of the grace period
  3. Medical Inflation applies on an annual basis
  4. If the sum insured under this policy is decreased at renewal, the Medical Inflation shall also be proportionally reduced to the sum insured
  5. If the sum insured is increased at renewal, the Medical Inflation shall apply separately to the previous policy sum insured and the enhanced sum Insured

Child Tuition Benefit: The insurer will pay an amount as stated in the policy schedule against this benefit if a claim has been made under Critical Illness Cover, Second Critical Illness and Personal Accident Cover. This benefit will be payable only once for each claim accepted under Critical Illness Cover, Second Critical Illness and Personal Accident Cover during the lifetime of this policy.

Note: The insurer will pay this benefit if your dependent child is a full-time student in any educational institute at the time of accidental death or critical illness diagnosis.

Medical Second Opinion: The insurer will organize a second medical opinion from its listed providers if you request the same.

Note: This benefit is available only once for each critical illness during the policy period.

Free Health Check-up: If no claim has been made under this policy for two policy years and the policy is renewed without any break, you will be entitled to a free health check-up benefit.

Counseling Session: Under this policy, you’ll also get coverage for counseling sessions if you are diagnosed with a specified critical illness in a policy year. A total of five sessions is allowed under this policy. The maximum liability is limited to INR 1,500/- per session or actual, whichever is less.

Fixed Policy Premium: The policy premium amount will remain fixed for six consecutive years, provided the policy is renewed continuously without any break.

Note: This benefit is valid as long as there is no change in plan or coverages at the time of renewal.

Cancer Seek: If no claim has been made under this policy for 3 policy years, at the end of every three claim-free policy years, you’ll get coverage for cancer screening at the empanelled service provider.

Cancer Relapse: The insurer will pay the sum insured as stated in the policy schedule if you are diagnosed with relapse or recurrence of cancer, provided you have already filed a claim earlier for the relapse or recurrence of cancer under Critical Illness Cover. This benefit is available only once during the policy period, provided relapse or recurrence of cancer is diagnosed two years after a complete remission or from the date of last treatment/therapy.

Adjuvant Therapy: If you are diagnosed with Cancer of Specified Severity/Major cancer and Adjuvant Therapy is advised by the specialist medical practitioner, the insurer will cover expenses for such treatment up to the sum insured as specified in the policy schedule

Note: This benefit is available if you have already filed a claim against Cancer of Specified Illness or Major stage of cancer under this policy.

Cancer Support: If you file a claim in respect of Early Stage Cancer, Intermediary Stage of Cancer, Cancer of Specified Severity/Major Stage Cancer, you can avail of the below-mentioned additional support from the insurer –

  1. Expert Opinion
  2. Cancer Counselling

Care Restore: The insurer will restore the sum insured if you are diagnosed with Second Primary Cancer, provided earlier you have claimed the benefit under Critical Illness Cover as a first incidence.

Reduction of waiting period: The initial waiting period stands reduced to the duration as specified in the policy schedule.

Exclusions from Navi COCO CritiCare Plan

The insurer shall not cover the medical expenses arising out of the following under this policy –

  1. Substance-related and abusive disorders
  2. Breach of law with criminal intent
  3. Chemical and nuclear exposure
  4. War
  5. Pre-existing diseases
  6. Sexually Transmitted Diseases
  7. Self-Inflicted Injuries or Attempted Suicide
  8. External Congenital anomaly, disease or defects
  9. Participation in Adventure/Professional Sports/Defence Operation
  10. Treatment from an unrecognized physician
  11. Maternity and Pregnancy
  12. Experimental or Unrecognized Treatment

Free Look Period

The insurer provides you a free look period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy document to review the terms and conditions and return the same if you have any objections. You can cancel the policy stating the reasons for it. Subsequent to cancellation, the insurer will refund your paid premiums after reducing the medical check-up expenses, stamp duty charges and proportionate risk premium.

Note: You can cancel this policy during the free look period only if you have not made any claims under this policy.
