Availability of Two Variant Options

Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan provides policyholders the option to choose from two variants – Top-up and Super Top-up Plan.

With the Top-up plan, policyholders can increase the sum insured up to INR 20 lakhs at a lower cost (calculated on a per claim basis over the specified deductible). On the other hand, with the Super Top-up Plan, the sum insured can be increased up to INR 1 crore (calculated on an aggregate per policy per year basis over the specified deductible).

With the Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan, policyholders can choose from multiple sum insured and deductible options according to their affordability.

Multiple Policy Term

Policyholders can choose from three policy term options – 1, 2 or 3 years according to their needs and financial capability.

If you choose a multi-tenure policy of 2 or 3 years, Liberty Insurance will provide an attractive discount of 7.5% and 10% on the premium amount, respectively.

In-patient Hospitalization Coverage

If a policyholder is undergoing treatment in a hospital with a minimum duration of 24 hours, the Health Connect Supra Plan will provide coverage against the expenses incurred on the in-patient hospitalization.

Pre and Post-Hospitalization Expenses

Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan provides coverage against expenses incurred on 30-60 days immediately before and 60-90 days after hospitalization. The coverage will be for consultations, tests and medications.

Day Care Procedures

Due to technological advancements in medical science, day care treatments do not require minimum 24-hour hospitalization. This policy covers the medical expenses incurred on 405 such day care procedures undertaken in a hospital or day care center.

Preventive Care Benefits

Policyholders can enjoy a wide range of preventive care benefits without paying an additional cost. Some of these benefits are First Medical Opinion, Live Health Talk, Electronic Record Management and Fortnightly newsletters.

Reload of Sum Insured

On paying an extra premium over and above the basic premium, this policy also provides the reloading of the sum insured once in a policy year (equal to the original sum insured) in case you exhaust your original sum insured.

Loyalty Perk

Under the Super Top-up option, your sum insured amount will automatically increase by 10% every year when you don’t make any claim. The maximum increase can be up to 100% of the sum insured.

Family Floater Discount

Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan allows policyholders to protect family members under a single sum insured with a lesser premium. For coverage of each child under the policy, a flat discount of 15% will be given on the premium amount.

Note: Family floater is only available for immediate family i.e. spouse and three children under a single sum insured on a floater basis for all members.

Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan Eligibility Criteria

  1. The minimum age at entry for adults and children stands at 18 years and 91 days, respectively.
  2. The maximum age for adults can go up to 65 years.
  3. Child/children below 18 years can only be insured if either parent is protected under the policy.

What is Not Covered Under Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan?

Policyholders will not get any coverage in the following situations.

  1. Any sexually transmitted disease
  2. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
  3. Pregnancy-related expenses except ectopic pregnancy
  4. Treatment of fertility, infertility, subfertility or assisted conception procedure or sterilization, birth control procedures
  5. Mental illnesses
  6. Cosmetic surgery other than as may be necessitated due to an injury or burns
  7. Circumcision (unless necessary for the treatment of an illness)
  8. All preventive care, vaccination, including inoculation and immunizations (except in case of post-bite treatment or when it is medically necessary)
  9. Non-allopathic treatment
  10. Any treatment or loss required arising from Insured Person’s participation in any hazardous activity
  11. The standard list of excluded items
