Second Medical Opinion/Tele-Consult: The insurer will arrange and pay for your second opinion. You can seek a second medical opinion for your illness through the insurer’s empaneled network providers. The medical specialist will directly send you the e-opinion.
Note: You can use this benefit only once in a policy year.
Fee Health Check-ups: You can avail of free health check-ups after a block of every 2 claim-free policy years at network hospitals. This benefit is available for the insured whose age is 18 years and above. The following tests are covered under free health check-ups:
Health 360°: The insurer provides you the following Health & Wellness services under this policy to ensure your well-being –
Critical Illnesses Related to HIV/AIDS: If you’re diagnosed with critical illness due to HIV/AIDS infection, the payable amount shall be limited to 10% of the sum insured for a policy year. The maximum liability for a critical illness related to HIV/AIDS is 100% of the sum insured in a lifetime. A 24-month waiting period shall apply between the occurrences of the insured condition related to HIV/AIDS. Whereas a 48-month waiting period shall apply for the insured condition which is not related to HIV/AIDS and its complications.
The diagnosis of HIV/AIDS must be supported by the following evidence and confirmed by a specialist medical practitioner –
Under this cover, the insurer will pay for the following critical illnesses arising due to HIV/AIDS infection –
Note: Maximum three claims in a lifetime shall not apply to a valid claim under Critical Illnesses Related to HIV/AIDS. ’
You can add any of the below-mentioned optional covers under this policy by paying an additional premium for it
Loan Protector Cover: After the first diagnosis of any of the covered conditions, the insurer will pay one of the following, whichever is lower:
This benefit is subject to submission of sanction letter, repayment track record and bank account statement reflecting EMI or Loan account statement.
Note: You can avail of this benefit until the Principal Outstanding loan amount is fully paid or expiry of the policy period, whichever is earlier.
Option to Waive a 30-Day Survival Period: By choosing this optional cover, you can waive the survival period.
A free look period of 15 days applies from the date of receipt of the policy document to review the terms and conditions of this policy. You can cancel this policy during the free look period by stating the reasons for cancellation in writing. If there are no claims reported during the free look period, you will be entitled to a refund of the paid premium after a deduction on pre-policy health check-ups, stamp duty charges and proportionate risk premium for the period on the cover.
