The policy comes with a minimum term of 1 year which can be reduced to specific events as well. Future Generali Personal Accident Insurance Plan has a maximum term of 3 years. And if the policyholder wants to continue the cover, he/she should renew the policy 30 days prior to its expiry. You can renew the accidental cover for lifelong and add unmarried children from the age of 3 to 25 years and dependents. Individuals aged 18 to 70 years can buy Future Generali Personal Accident Insurance Plan.
The sum insured is dependent on the individual monthly income which can be a maximum of up to 144 times the monthly income. A salaried or self-employed person is eligible for a sum insured up to 144 times of his/her monthly income as shown in the Salary Slip and Income Tax Return report. The maximum sum insured for Temporary Total Disablement is restricted to INR 50,00,000 only for class 1 and INR 25,00,000 for class 2. Non-working spouses can claim the policy up to 50% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of INR 10,00,000 with Temporary Total Disablement. Dependent children from 3 to 25 years of age can claim 25% of the policy sum insured up to INR 10,00,000 except for Temporary Total Disablement coverage.

Note: If the insured aged 71-80 years doesn’t have any gainful income, the sum insured will be INR 5,00,000. The sum insured, however, will be INR 2,50,000 for the insured aged 80 years and above. You should know that Temporary Total Disablement is not covered for people aged above 70 years.

A free look period starts from the date of inception, during which the insured can return the policy if not satisfied with the terms and conditions. The benefit is not for those who buy Future Generali Personal Accident Insurance Plan for less than a year. If the insured doesn’t make any claim during the free look period, he/she is entitled to the following benefits.
The policy claim is processed through the In-house Health Administrator, Future Generali Health (FGH) team. You can either submit the claim form online or at your nearest branch office, whichever suits you the best. It is mandatory for the insured to intimate the accident to Future Generali India Insurance Company Ltd. at their official email id fgh@futuregenrali.in.
The in-house claim settlement process team will process your claim within 30 working days from the time you submit the required documentation. The following list of documents is required for the claim:

Loan Protector Claims
Documents of the loan which the insured has availed from the financial institution or bank with the EMI per month and the balance amount of the loan should be submitted. The said documents should be authorized by the respective financial institution or bank from which the insured has availed the loan. Other documents would be the same as mentioned under Death or Dismemberment/Disablement Claims (As per the applicable case).
Repatriation Benefit and Funeral Expense Claims
Original Cash-memos of expenses incurred for preparing the insured person’s burial or cremation, including the transportation of the body. Documents stating the place of residence of the insured covered under the policy, such as a copy of electricity bill, telephone bill, etc.
Adaptation Allowance Claims
Original Cash-memos of the expenses incurred by the insured to modify his/her vehicle or house as necessitated due to Permanent Total Disability, which resulted from an accident covered under the policy. A certificate from the attending doctor certifying the necessity for modification in a house or car will also be required.
Family Transportation Allowance Claims
A certificate should be issued by the attending doctor confirming the attendance of the insured by an immediate family member due to an accident. The documents also include original bills incurred by the immediate family member for transportation with documents stating the residence of the insured such as a copy of the electricity bill, telephone bill, etc.
