Future Generali Health Total Plan offers three options – Vital, Superior and Premiere Plan. These plans have different sum insured options (ranging from INR 3 lakh to 1 crore) that you can check in the below table.

Under these plans, policyholders can choose the sum insured on an individual and family floater basis. To know the definition of family under them, check the below table.

Future Generali Health Insurance Total Plan provides coverage against expenses incurred 60 days before the hospitalization and 90 to 180 days (depending on the plan option) after discharge from the hospital. The coverage amount will be up to the sum insured limit.
Irrespective of the plan option chosen, policyholders will get coverage against day care treatments (treatments that do not require 24-hour hospitalization) up to the sum insured limit.
This comprehensive health insurance plan from Future Generali also covers maternity expenses in both normal and LSCS (caesarian). For normal delivery, the coverage amount will range from INR 15,000 to 50,000, while under LSCS delivery, it ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 1,00,000.
Under the Premiere Plan option, policyholders will also get child vaccination benefits up to 12 years of age. This benefit can go up to INR 5,000 per policy period.
Policyholders above 60 years of age will also get patient care benefits in the form of daily allowance during hospitalization. This benefit amount ranges from INR 350 – 1,000 per day up to 10 days per hospitalization (with a maximum of 30 days per policy year).
In case a policyholder meets with an accident and requires hospitalization, this plan offers an increase in the sum insured by 25% of the available sum insured (up to INR 10 lakh).
On choosing the Superior or Premiere option under Future Generali Health Total Plan, policyholders will get reimbursement against expenses incurred on medical evacuation from the place of local hospitalization/accident to any other hospital across India. The reimbursement amount can be up to 5% of the sum insured.
If a policyholder needs to be immediately transported to a nearby hospital via an ambulance, this plan also covers the expenses incurred depending on the type of hospital. In the case of a network hospital, you will get coverage against the actual cost. However, in the case of a non-network hospital, the reimbursement amount will range from INR 1,500 – 5,000 depending on the plan option.
Under all the plan options, policyholders can avail of the e-opinion facility for a maximum of 2 illnesses or injuries in a policy term.
In the case of the individual sum insured option under the Future Generali Health Total Plan, policyholders will get a family discount of 10% on the premium if more than one person is covered in the same policy. Also, if you pay the premium for a long-term policy upfront, you will get up to a 10% discount.
On choosing Vital Plan, policyholders up to 50 years of age don’t need to undergo medical tests before purchasing the same. However, people above 50 years would need to undergo medical tests. In the case of Superior and Premiere Plan, individuals above 18 years require to go through a pre-acceptance medical screening.
For the Future Generali Health Total Plan, the minimum policy term can be one year, while it can go up to 3 years.
The minimum premium amount stands at INR 4,418 per year for a sum insured option of INR 3 lakh for individuals between 1 day to 17 years. Individuals can also choose from different premium payment options – Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually.
In the case of the following situations, policyholders will not be covered under the plan.
