Future Health Suraksha Plan In-patient Coverage

The insurer will cover the following medical expenses if you or any of the insured members suffer an illness or injury and get admitted to the hospital as per your attending doctor’s advice –

  1. Room rent, board and nursing expenses
  2. Surgeon, Anesthetist, Medical Practitioner, Consultants, Specialists fees
  3. Cost of anesthesia, blood, oxygen, Operation Theatre charges, surgical appliances, medicines & drugs, diagnostic materials, X-ray, pacemaker, prosthesis/internal implants and any medical expenses which is a part of the operation
  4. Day care treatments
  5. Ambulance charges up to INR 1,500 per hospitalization

Future Health Suraksha Plan Pre & Post-hospitalisation Coverage

The insurer will compensate for the medical expenses incurred 60 days before the date of admission to the hospital and 90 days after the date of discharge from it.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Patient Care Benefits

The benefits are available to the insured member whose age is above 60 years. Here, the insurer will provide coverage for the nursing charges if recommended by the treating doctor post-discharge from the hospital. Parent care benefit is subject to INR 350 per day or actual, whichever is less. This benefit shall be available to you up to 10 days per hospitalization, subject to a maximum of 30 days during the policy period.

Note – The coverage under this benefit is over and above the hospitalization sum insured.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Accidental Hospitalization Cover

In case of hospitalization due to an accident, the policy limit shall increase by 25% of the balance sum insured, subject to a maximum of INR 1 Lakh, irrespective of the number of claims in a policy period.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Hospital Cash Benefit

You’ll receive INR 500 for each completed 24 hours of hospitalization. And this hospital cash benefit is subject to a maximum of 60 days during this policy period. This benefit is applicable only if you choose a platinum plan.

Note  – The coverage under this benefit is over and above the hospitalization sum insured.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Accompanying Person Benefit

The insurer will pay INR 500 for each completed 24 hours hospitalization if a dependent child up to the age of 10 years is admitted to the hospital. This benefit is payable to you, so you or any of your family members can visit the hospital without worrying about the expenses. Accompanying person benefit is payable to up to 30 days during the policy period.

Note – Accompanying person includes – mother, father, grandfather, grandmother and any immediate family member. This benefit is payable to you over and above the hospitalization sum insured.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Cumulative bonus

You will get a cumulative bonus after every claim-free year, thereby raising your sum insured by 10% each time, subject to a maximum of 50%. If a claim arises, the policy cumulative bonus shall be reduced by 10% for each claim year. An increase or decrease in the cumulative bonus will be based upon the claims made in the previous year.

In case you port your health insurance to Future Health from another insurer, the accumulated cumulative bonus will be transferred as per the following conditions –

  1. The insured’s age should be less than or equal to 45 years or lower, otherwise, no accumulated cumulative bonus will be carried forward
  2. The maximum cumulative bonus will be 50% if the policy doesn’t have any cumulative bonus at the time of inception
  3. The cumulative bonus shall be restricted to 70% if the policy have a cumulative bonus at the time of inception
  4. Portability will be granted to you if you port your existing policy to Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Policy at least 45 days before the premium renewal date of the existing policy.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Free Health Check-up Benefit

You will be entitled to the free health check-up benefit at the end of every 4th policy year, provided you haven’t filed any claim during the preceding years and the policy is in force without any break. You can apply for a free medical check-up by contacting the insurer. Free health check-ups will be conducted at the insurance company’s network diagnostic center. The insurer will cover the following expenses during the free health check-up –

  1. Physician Consultation Fees
  2. ECG
  3. Complete Blood Count
  4. Urine Routine
  5. Fasting blood Sugar
  6. Post-Prandial Blood Sugar
  7. Lipid Profile
  8. Sr. Creatinine
  9. SGOT
  10. SGPT
  11. GGTP

The insurer is not liable for any transportation, accommodation or sustenance charge.

Note – The free health check-up benefit shall be available for any two insured members under the floater policy.

Eligibility for Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Plan

You can buy Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Plan if you meet the following age criteria –

  1. Minimum Entry Age – 91 days
  2. Maximum Entry Age – 70 Years
  3. Dependent Children – up to the age of 25 years

No pre-acceptance medical tests are required if your age is less than or equal to 45 years, provided you don’t have any pre-existing health condition. If your age is 46 years and above, medical tests will be done in Future Generali’s empanelled diagnostic centers.

Future Health Suraksha Plan Premium Amount & Sum Insured Options

You can purchase Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Plan under Basic, Silver, Gold or Platinum Plan. The sum insured ranges from INR 50,000 – INR 50 Lakh, except for the Platinum plan where the sum insured ranges from INR 6-10 Lakh. You can enhance your policy sum assured at renewals as per the following condition –

  1. If your age is up to 45 years, you can increase the sum insured up to INR 10 Lacs without medical examination
  2. If your age is between 46 to 55 years, the sum insured can be increased up to INR 10 Lakh with medical examination
  3. If your age is above 55 years, the maximum sum insured will be restricted to INR 5 Lakh.
  4. If you port your existing policy and your age is above 55 years, the maximum sum insured would be restricted to INR 5 Lakh.

Future Health Suraksha Plan policy term is of 1 year, and you can renew it as long as you want. The minimum and maximum premium amount for individual and family floater basis plan, excluding the applicable GST, are as follows –

Individual Plan –

  • INR 713-24,036 for Basic Plan
  • INR 785-26,440 for Silver Plan
  • INR 855-28,819 for Gold Plan
  • INR 7,454-45,315 for Platinum Plan

Family Floater Plan –

  • INR 3,100-48,073 for Basic Plan
  • INR 3,410-52,880 for Silver Plan
  • INR 3,717-57,639 for Gold Plan
  • INR 11,181-90629 for Platinum Plan

Note – The premium amount will be based upon the sum insured, age, chosen plan option, etc.

Free Look Period

You will have a 15-day free look period from the date of receipt of the policy during which you can review the terms and conditions of the same and return it to the insurer if not acceptable. On such cancellation, you will be entitled to a refund of the paid premium less propionate risk premium, medical examination expenses and stamp duty charges.
